Kennel nights versus appointment software
Why boarding kennels are a poor fit for 30-minute salon or clinic diaries — and where grooming slots still belong.

Different job
Appointment products sell clock-time slots: 10:00, 10:30, one chair, one person. Petuler sells nights on a named kennel, plus daycare days and grooming or training slots that sit next to lodging. Guests pick a date range; occupancy is per kennel, shared or exclusive.
Using a salon diary for a week of boarding usually means fighting the product: fake all-day slots, no stay total, no deposit as a percentage of nights.
Honest overlap
Grooming and training on Petuler are time slots with overlap protection. They are not a van-router or a full salon POS. If you already run a dedicated groomer product for a mobile fleet, keep that — Petuler is the kennel OS.
