Request to book versus instant confirmation

When to queue stays for approval and when to confirm as soon as the guest finishes checkout.

Updated 2026-09-11

Two modes

Petuler booking pages can confirm a stay as soon as it is created, or put it in a pending queue for you to accept or decline. Instant is faster for simple availability. Request-to-book is better when you still want a human look at the pack before you commit.

Enquiries are a third path: the guest asks about dates without paying. You can approve and send a complete-booking link. That is not a form builder; it is a short inbox.

Pick one default

Switching mode does not rewrite history. Existing stays keep the mode they were created under. Change the default in booking-page settings when you are ready, then tell regulars if the process changes.
